Classes

Six days a week. Beginners always welcome.

SBG Kids

Kids BJJ teaches children to solve problems with their body and their brain — calmly, under pressure. It's not about fighting. It's about knowing you can handle yourself, which changes how you carry yourself everywhere else.

Classes are structured, coach-led, and fun. Your child will learn real technique from day one, drilled safely against a partner their own size. No experience needed — most kids start with none.

Ages 6 to 12. Gi required after the first class (we can help with that).

Women only

Women's BJJ

A women-only class in a gym that takes technique seriously. You'll learn the same curriculum as any other class — takedowns, guard passing, submissions — in a space where you can make mistakes without an audience.

Most members started with zero martial arts background. The class moves at a pace that lets you build confidence before you build speed. You'll be rolling (sparring) within a few weeks, when you're ready.

All levels. Gi or no-gi, we'll sort you out on your first day.

Adult BJJ

Our main program, open to everyone from first-timers to experienced grapplers. We run both gi and no-gi sessions through the week — gi classes use the traditional uniform, no-gi uses shorts and a rash guard.

The curriculum is built around the SBG International methodology: technique first, pressure second. You won't be thrown in at the deep end. Coaches run structured drilling before any live rolling, so beginners always have a safe context to learn.

SBG has trained thousands of beginners over 30 years. You won't be the first person who showed up not knowing what a guard is.

Your first day

Everything you need to know before you walk in.

  • Wear comfortable clothes — shorts and a t-shirt are fine. No gi needed for your first class.
  • Bring a water bottle. It gets warm.
  • No shoes on the mat. Leave them at the edge when you come in.
  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early so a coach can introduce you before class starts.
  • Fingernails and toenails trimmed short — for yours and everyone else's comfort.

Your first class is on us.

No contract, no pressure. Just come try it.
